The last 800 feet is up an almost vertical face; much, much tougher than we ever imagined.
Now for the descent....yipes!!

Headquartered in Battery Park at the southern tip of New York City, we are an organization dedicated to a lightweight, low tech approach to climbing and hiking. Our philosophy is that by traveling as light as possible we can make summit and be back at the lodge enjoying the best of local microbrews while our heavily outfitted brethren are still busting their humps on the way up, slaves to the 50 lbs of overpriced gear their outfitters convinced them were essential.
